5.SAMSUNG GALAXY S10 PLUS

The Samsung Galaxy S10+ sports a new design and a brilliant display. There’s flagship performance on offer and also improved cameras that now includes a wide-angle lens. Certainly it is one of the best android phone you can buy in India in 2019. The Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus is quite a banger of a phone and a great sign of things to come, from Samsung and hopefully other manufacturers in the months to come. It has one of the best displays we’ve tested and with the HDR10+ certification, you’re looking at a device that’s great for content consumption. The phone packs enough power under the hood to be able to handle anything you throw at it. As an imaging device, the phone continues to be as impressive as last year’s offerings, but some of the new features introduced this year need to be improved, especially the Super Night shot feature, which needs to be its own mode and not a scene optimizer setting. If you’re considering buying the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, it would definitely not be a bad decision.

Camera 12 + 12 + 16 | 10 + 8 MP

6.HUAWEI P30 PRO

The Huawei P30 Pro is a camera beast that sets a benchmark for mobile photography. It also offers flagship performance making it one of the best Android mobile you can buy in India for 2019. The Huawei P30 Pro offers the best imaging performance on a smartphone available today. The low light capabilities without using a specialized shooting mode is unrivalled. The 5x telephoto lens is one of a kind and would be of great interesting to anyone who’s an avid traveller. The phone has not only excellent battery life, but also tops up very quickly, as long as you use the supplied charger and cable. The only flaw we feel is the FHD+ display, whose resolution should have been higher, especially if it needs to qualify as the best Android mobile in India for 2019

SPECIFICATION
Screen Size 6.47″ (1080 X 2340)
Camera 40 + 20 + 8 + TOF | 32 MP

7.ONEPLUS 7 PRO

The OnePlus 7 Pro is first truly flagship phone from OnePlus. It’s no longer a flagship killer but an out and out flagship that looks pretty gorgeous with a 2K AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ certification. Then there’s up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 storage combined with Snapdragon 855. Last but not the least, there’s a triple camera stack with a 48MP primary camera, 16MP wide-angle camera and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom. The OnePlus 7 Pro is one of the most feature-rich smartphones and could easily be considered as the best Android mobile in India. But that’s just the specs. Using the OnePlus 7 Pro is a marvellous experience. The high refresh rate converts to smoother animations in the UI while the tactile feedback is one of the best in the market. The OnePlus 7 Pro draws its power from the Snapdragon 855 which is also blazing fast. Surprisingly, it also has the loudest speakers arranged in stereo.

SPECIFICATION
Screen Size 6.7″ (3120 x 1440)
Camera 48 + 16 + 8 | 16 MP
RAM 8GB
Battery 4000 mAh
Operating system Android

8.ONEPLUS 7

The OnePlus 7 is the smaller sibling of the OnePlus 7 Pro, and as such, it’s almost as good as the more expensive one. The OnePlus 7 offers the same performance as the OnePlus 7 Pro, but doesn’t offer the QHD display and 12GB RAM. It in fact resembles the design of the OnePlus 6T with a waterdrop notch, and a slimmer profile. On the back is a 48MP Sony sensor along with a 5MP depth sensor while on the front you have a 16MP selfie camera. The OnePlus 7, along with the 7 Pro, also runs on one of the best optimised operating system for Android which makes using the phone feel like a breeze.

SPECIFICATION
Screen Size 6.4″ (1080 X 2340)
Camera 48 + 5 | 16 MP
RAM 6GB
Battery 3700 mAh
Operating system Android
Soc Qualcomm Snapdragon 855

9.SAMSUNG GALAXY S10E

The Samsung Galaxy S10e is the best compact smartphone you can buy right now, if the Pixel 3 seems to old-school for you. It’s got the same performance as the larger Galaxy S10 devices but packed in a pocket-friendly form-factor that can be used one-handed. It’s also got a dual camera setup on the back offering an excellent 12MP primary sensor with dual aperture along with a 16MP wide-angle sensor which is one of the best you can get in a smartphone right now. But don’t let it’s small size fool you though. There’s a 5.8-inch FHD display with HDR10+ certification. Even though it’s not a quadHD display like on the Galaxy S10, the pixel density more than makes up for it to offer excellent sharpness and vivid colours. On the front, the camera is drilled into the display on the top right corner and can take sharp 10MP selfies. The only downside of the Galaxy S10e and its compact form factor is the battery life. It barely lasts a day, so if you can manage to charge the device twice in a day, this should be a compact smartphone lover’s favourite.

SPECIFICATION
Screen Size 5.8″ (1080 x 2280)
Camera 12 + 16 | 10 MP
RAM 6GB
Battery 3100 mAh
Operating system Android
Soc Exynos 9820 Octa (8 nm)

The Redmi K20 Pro is a well-rounded flagship from Xiaomi. The phone features a fiery design, well protected by toughened glass and features the Snapdragon 855 flagship processor and up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone also features a triple-camera stack on the back including a 48MP primary camera while on the front is a bezel-less AMOLED HDR display thanks to a pop-up camera module.

SPECIFICATION

Camera 48 + 13 + 8 | 20 MP
RAM 6GB
Battery 4000 mAh
